My work sits at the intersection of reliability engineering and financial systems — keeping payments flowing at scale, across borders, around the clock.
Before ByteDance, I spent time at Ant Group architecting cross-border payment systems for Alipay International's European expansion (the Miravia project), and building high-concurrency financial messaging infrastructure at ANEXT Bank — handling SWIFT, MEPS, FAST, and PAYNOW protocols.
Earlier in my career at Citibank, I built microservice execution platforms for equity and FX trading, and managed end-to-end releases for a team of 30. I'm drawn to systems where correctness and reliability aren't optional.
Outside of work, I build products. Play United started as a side project in 2019 and now serves 30K+ users on iOS and Android.
Responsible for global stability of ByteDance's international payment systems and leading data center construction across regions. Focused on cross-region failover, resilience engineering, and infrastructure scalability for high-volume payment workloads.
Architect for Miravia cross-border payment system (3,000 man-days, team of 5). Designed the acquiring domain including multi-microservices architecture for payment, refund, fund back, chargeback, and merchant settlement. At ANEXT Bank, owned Fluxnet (SWIFT/MEPS/FAST/PAYNOW channel integration) and Opengw (high-performance gateway for financial institutions).
Developed microservice-based execution platform for Equity OneRisk. Built data reconciliation tooling and automated standard procedures, reducing operational risk by 35%. Release manager for FX STIRT — coordinating developers, QA, and support for a team of 30 across end-to-end releases.
Contributed to SAP Mobile Development Kit — frontend (iOS/Android) and backend (TypeScript/Node.js). Bug fixing and new reusable features for metadata-driven native mobile applications.
